Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail Treasure Map​

Louis was asked by Nature Play SA, on behalf of Brand South Australia, the Government of South Australia and National Parks South Australia to create a children's resource for a brand new Wilderness Trail on the beautiful Kangaroo Island. Construction of the trail itself cost around 5.5 million dollars.

​

He was flown to Kangaroo Island and escorted along some of the most picturesque sections of the 5-day walking trail over three days by accomodating park rangers and the manager of Nature Play SA. After writing and illustrating stories featuring pirates, maps, and ships for several years, this job was a perfect fit.
